A personal tool for making and publishing music videos.
Kappal Neram Pipeline is a small command-line program written for one person's own use. It takes a finished audio track, assembles a music video from still images, and uploads the result to that person's own YouTube channel.
It has exactly one user: the person who wrote it and owns the channel it publishes to. It is not a product, it is not offered as a service, and there is no sign-up. It is published here only because Google requires an application using the YouTube Data API to have a home page, a privacy policy and terms of service at a stable address.
The program asks the operator to sign in with Google once, so that it can upload videos to the operator's own channel and read that channel's public statistics. It requests these permissions and no others:
youtube.upload — upload videos to the operator's channelyoutube.force-ssl — set the title, description and thumbnail on those uploadsyt-analytics.readonly — read view counts and traffic sources for those videosIt does not read, modify or delete anything belonging to anyone else, and it has no access to any account other than the one that signs in.
